There’s something conspicuous about love. It never makes sense, never works the same way twice. Even if you get a second chance.

Still struggling with the residual effects of the inner turmoil he pushed through years ago, Quentin Spivey is a new man. Now if he can only convince the woman he loves that it’s the truth this time. If Summer could get past what he’s done in the past, they could live happily ever after. She could travel the world by his side and be pulled on stage to sit next to him while he sings love songs to her in front of every audience, no matter how big or small.  

Quentin envisions making a dream home for them and loving her the way a man is supposed to love a woman like Summer Andrews. However, a close group of female friends will not let him hurt her again. After all, he claimed to love three of them before and one in particular resents that she is no longer first in his life.

Once all friends could it be that way again? There’s only one way to find out.

This story is about a young man's journey into adulthood without being handed instructions. Like many young men, Quentin has big aspirations but is sidetracked by a beautiful woman. Then another. And another. Though his actions may seem incredulous at times, his story is an exciting, fast paced look into the mistakes we all make while learning who we are.
